The homework tonight is worksheet 11-10, dealing with graphing functions. The students are to do problems 1-13 for tomorrow.

February 24

In class today we discussed the 4 quadrants on a coordinate grid and completed a worksheet in class for a daily grade. There is no homework tonight and we will be benchmark testing the next 2 days and will resume regular class on Thursday. 

February 19

The homework tonight is worksheet 9-4, which deals with converting metric units. The students are to do problems 1-14 for tomorrow.

February 17

Today in class the students learned how to multiply mixed numbers. Their homework tonight is worksheet 5-8, and they are to do questions 1-15 for tomorrow. Below is an example video of how to multiply mixed numbers.

The students worked on test corrections in class today so there is no homework tonight. Once I grade the test corrections, some students averages will change due to their test corrections. The test they took was an open note test, but some students still did poorly on it.

Also, I have tutoring this Friday morning at 7:30 if any student needs help on anything.

February 10

The homework tonight is worksheet 10-9, which is about surface area. Many students finished during class.

Also, I am offering morning tutoring every Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 7:30-7:50. Any student is allowed to come in for extra help on homework or any extra help on other math topics. The STAAR test is coming up soon and everyone is welcome to come in.
